Voice assistants and their avatars represent the most direct interaction with AI, and the automotive industry is competing with mobile device manufacturers to establish their avatars in the market.
The Volkswagen Research & Development team tasked us with investigating how users perceive the AI assistant’s operation beyond their own ecosystem.
In this relatively small project, I led a team of UX Designers as we gathered insights on the current state of assistant ecosystems. This research served as the foundation for creating and user testing a service blueprint and its visible interface.
